Children's Privacy Notice

For Gimbal: ADHD Test & Focus · Last updated: September 12, 2026
The short version

Gimbal is for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to younger children and is not published in Google Play's Designed for Families programme or Apple's Kids category. It collects nothing from anyone — of any age — because everything stays on the device, and it contains no advertising, no tracking and no profiling.

1. Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Gimbal. The app's store rating reflects this. The questionnaires it uses are self‑report instruments written for adolescents and adults; they are not designed or validated for younger children, and the results would not mean what they appear to mean.

Where the digital consent age in your country is higher than 13 — it is 14, 15 or 16 in several EU member states — users under that age should use Gimbal only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian must accept the Terms of Use on their behalf.

2. What we collect from minors

Nothing — the same as for everyone else. Gimbal has no account, no sign‑up and no email field. Answers, test results, notes, tasks and sessions are written to a database on the device and never transmitted to us. We therefore do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or from anyone else, and have no personal information about a minor to disclose, sell, share or delete.

Because there is no collection, there is nothing that could be used for behavioural advertising, profiling or measurement involving a minor. The app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no ad identifier of any kind.

3. COPPA, GDPR‑K and equivalents

Gimbal is not directed to children under 13 within the meaning of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and no verifiable parental consent mechanism is required because no personal information is collected online from children. In the EU/UK, no processing of a child's personal data by us takes place under Article 8 GDPR, for the same reason. The same holds under KVKK in Türkiye and comparable rules elsewhere.

The only personal data that ever reaches a third party is a purchase record (see Privacy Policy, section 4), and purchases are made through a parent's or an adult's store account under Apple's and Google's own rules — including Ask to Buy and Family Link controls where they are enabled.

4. For parents and guardians

If your teenager is using Gimbal, here is what it actually does and what it does not:

If a result worries either of you, the next step is a professional assessment — a paediatrician, child and adolescent psychiatrist, or clinical psychologist — not an app.

5. If a younger child has used the app

Nothing will have reached us, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. To remove what is on the device, open the app and use Settings → delete all data, or uninstall the app; then check device backups as described on the Your Data & Deletion page. If you have questions, write to us and we will help.

6. Purchases by minors

Gimbal Pro is bought through the App Store or Google Play, where parental controls (Ask to Buy, Family Link, purchase approval, password protection) govern whether a minor can complete a purchase. We have no way to authorise or reverse a purchase ourselves; requests go to the store, which is also where unintended purchases by a child are refunded.

7. Changes and contact

If this notice changes, the date above changes with it. Questions from a parent, guardian, school or authority: contact@muzo.dev, subject line "Gimbal children's privacy". We reply within 3 business days.
